The site also showcases a blog of the latest media of art, music, & fashion. The name "The Crazy 808's" is derived from the Quentin Tarantino film "Kill Bill Vol. 1" where their was a gang of sword wielding, masked samurai called the "Crazy 88". The "808's" origin is derived from the "Roland TR-808" drum machine a very prominent instrument that help mold the sound of Hip-Hop music. |
William Wilson
> I was born August 18, 1987 in Oberlin Ohio, lived in Ohio for most of my life. I was given a computer when I was 13 years old and from then on, you could not pull me off of it. Very shortly after I wanted to learn how to make a website so I went onto those free build a website creators and made fan based websites for Japanese Anime. Later I was teaming up with other top artist, and we were competing against web developers for who had the best "Dragonball Z" fansite. I was given Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Macromedia Dreamweaver studied and learn the programs and have been using them ever since. In 7th grade for career day I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I said I wanted to be a Graphic Designer, now I still want to be one but there is more involved and much more I want to add to the medium with my talents in the arts and web developing. But I never want to be labeled soley as a "Graphic Designer" or a "Web Designer" some people would call it all being an entrepeuner but it's more than the money and when you start to go off in that spectrum, then an artist that is solely out to make money is not an artist they should be labled as a business man, which many of these "artist" today you hear should be labled as. With it all, my music, my design concepts, all of it I hope one day to bring all these things into one whole, and that's pretty much what The Crazy 808's is a showcase of all my work. I hope one day to step into fashion and incorporate my ideas onto even something as small as T-shirt logos which does not seem to far away...

| > I currently live in Boynton Beach Florida, prior I worked in Brunswick Ohio at a computer shop as a I.T. Professional/ Web Designer, where I would repair computers, install hardware, install networking, and design websites. Outside of the Web Design side I did not like the job, there was no creativeness in the work, a person should never feel drained. In my experience do what you love and if there's anything hindering you from achieving your goal or hindering you from expressing yourself then do aboslutely everything you can do to overcome it. |
